Position Summary:
The American Indian Center of Arkansas is looking for a
WIOA/WORC
Case Manager to oversee and facilitate the delivery of services under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). This position plays a critical role in assisting individuals from Native American communities throughout Arkansas in accessing training, education, and employment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in case management, a strong understanding of workforce development programs, and a dedication to promoting economic independence among diverse populations. The WORC Program Case Manager is responsible for delivering comprehensive case management services to clients within the Workforce Opportunities for Rural Communities Program. This role focuses on empowering clients in rural areas, aiding them in overcoming barriers to employment, and facilitating access to training and job opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:
o Conduct assessments to determine client eligibility and needs. o Develop individual employment plans (IEPs) that align with each client’s strengths, weaknesses, and career objectives. o Regularly monitor and update client progress towards goals, adjusting plans as necessary. •
Resource Coordination:
o Connect clients with appropriate training, education, and employment opportunities. o Facilitate access to additional support services, including childcare, transportation, and housing assistance, to remove barriers to employment. o Maintain strong relationships with local employers, training providers, and other relevant stakeholders. o Work closely with AICA’s Programmatic Outreach Director to ensure that the
WIOA/WORC
program(s) are developing partnerships, employment opportunities, training opportunities and more for the
WIOA/WORC
program participants. •
Outreach and Education:
o Conduct outreach efforts to promote
WIOA/WORC
services within the American Indian communities across Arkansas. o Organize and participate in job fairs, workshops, and other events to enhance visibility and impact of the program. o Provide educational materials and sessions to clients to improve their job readiness. •
Continuous Improvement:
o Collect feedback from clients and partners to evaluate program effectiveness. o Suggest improvements to enhance the program’s success and client satisfaction. o Stay updated on job market trends and workforce development best practices. •
Required Qualifications:
o Highschool Diploma (
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field) o Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, preferably within workforce development or related programs. o Strong understanding of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and related regulatory requirements. o Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, particularly within American Indian communities. o Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. o Ability to travel within the state as needed to meet program and client needs.
