We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused Case Manager to join our Personal Injury Law Firm. The Case Manager will manage all aspects of case management from initial intake through to resolution. This position is critical for ensuring the efficient handling of cases and providing exceptional client service. The Case Manager will also have the opportunity to participate in litigation support, process improvement initiatives, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
Case Management:

Manage case files from intake through demand as well as assist with resolution, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation, and compliance with firm processes.

Client Communication:

Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns in a timely and empathetic manner. Case managers are required to communicate/contact client’s at least once a month. Providing support and a thorough explanation of the legal process, establishing trust, and building rapport. Coordination with

External Stakeholders:

Work closely with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties involved in the case to gather necessary documents and facilitate the progress of each case.

Legal Document Management:

Organize and maintain case checklists, procedural guidelines, and related documentation for each file and our client software system.

Litigation Support:

Assist with litigation preparation, including gathering evidence, preparing discovery, and assisting in case strategy development.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure seamless case management and optimize the handling of files.

Training and Onboarding:

Help develop and implement training materials and guidelines for new hires and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the firm.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in case management, ideally in a personal injury law firm. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of empathy and professionalism. Understanding of medical records, legal terminology, and insurance processes. Ability to remain calm and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Desired Skills:

Proficiency with case management software (e.g., Clio, FileVine, Prevail, or similar) and familiarity with medical document management tools (e.g., CIOX). Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with a team. High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage sensitive situations with care and professionalism.
