This includes ensuring that all case details are properly documented, final reports are completed, and all parties involved are notified of case closure. The Closing Case Manager plays a key role in ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, allowing for efficient case conclusion and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Finalization:
Oversee the closing of client cases by ensuring all legal documents are completed and filed correctly.
Documentation Management:
Prepare and review closing documents, such as settlement agreements, releases, and final invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. Coordination with
Attorneys and Paralegals:
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure all necessary tasks are completed before case closure.
Compliance:
Ensure that all case closure procedures comply with the firm’s policies, as well as relevant state and federal regulations.
Client Satisfaction:
Ensure a positive client experience by addressing concerns and providing final updates about the case.
Post-Closure Tasks:
Handle any post-closure requirements, including handling appeals or follow-up issues, if applicable.
Qualifications:
Education:
A bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years in a legal environment, preferably with experience in case management or closure. Legal background (Personal Injury) is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication (Spanish and English). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in legal management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to case closing.
