Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Personal Injury Case Manager with experience in Personal Injury law to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Coral Gables, Florida, this role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple cases efficiently, ensuring seamless communication and accurate documentation. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff while maintaining high standards of client care.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and set up claims, including requesting accident reports and gathering supporting documentation.
- Organize and maintain case files in Clio, completing custom fields, uploading necessary documents, and ensuring accurate records.
- Document and track case details, including communications with insurance providers, clients, and medical professionals.
- Coordinate medical treatment schedules for clients, ensuring consistency in care and proper documentation.
- Request, collect, and organize medical records and bills, negotiating reductions to optimize settlement outcomes.
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members to monitor case progress, ensuring timely updates and escalation when needed.
- Maintain regular communication with team members to provide case updates and ensure smooth transitions between phases.
- Prepare comprehensive demand letters tailored to each case for settlement negotiations.
- Work closely with case managers and attorneys to ensure files are complete and ready for the next stage.
- Notify relevant parties of significant updates to ensure proactive handling of claims. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury case management.
- Proficiency in case management software, such as Clio.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, medical providers, and team members.
- Experience analyzing medical records and negotiating medical bills.
- Familiarity with personal injury law and claim administration processes.
- Ability to draft detailed demand letters and maintain thorough documentation.
- Competence in calendar management to track deadlines and appointments.
