Position Definition & Summary:
Provides transportation for youth from the facility to their respective appointments. Ensures that proper safety and security measures, as mandated by the Department of Juvenile Justice, are enforced during all transports. C.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Shall hold an associates degree and have a current Florida drivers license, and successfully complete a required training program. The transporter will be required to complete all pre-service training.
Other Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in the state where the work site is located only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
