Job Description
Family Liaison (weekends) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 2925 10th Avenue North, Palm Springs, FL 33461 We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Family Liaison. As a Family Liaison, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals and families in crisis. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a bridge between various organizations and agencies, ensuring effective communication and coordination of services. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. This candidate must have experience working in some aspect at a treatment facility.
Shift:
Saturday & Sunday (part time)
Communication and Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for families, establishing open lines of communication and building trust. Facilitate effective communication between families and relevant agencies, including schools, healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations. Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other events to bring together families and support services.
Support and Advocacy:
Provide emotional support and practical guidance to families facing challenges such as educational difficulties, financial hardships, health issues, or family crises. Advocate on behalf of families to ensure their needs are understood and met by relevant agencies and service providers. Assist families in accessing resources, including financial assistance, counseling services, healthcare, and educational support.
Information and Referral:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available community resources and services relevant to families’ needs. Provide families with information about available resources, eligibility criteria, and application procedures. Assist families in navigating the process of accessing and utilizing available services effectively.
Crisis Intervention:
Respond promptly and compassionately to families in crisis situations, offering immediate support and assistance. Collaborate with relevant agencies and professionals to ensure timely intervention and resolution of crisis situations. Develop and implement crisis management plans tailored to the specific needs of each family.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of interactions with families, including assessments, referrals, and outcomes. Prepare reports and documentation as required by organizational policies and funding requirements. Ensure confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices.
