Holocaust Case Management Supervisor

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Case Management Supervisor is an exempt position responsible for overseeing a team of Case Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with program standards. This position maintains a reduced personal caseload, primarily consisting of monolingual Russian-speaking Holocaust Survivors. This position ensures service delivery aligns with agency standards and funding requirements through direct staff supervision, training, performance management, and quality assurance. The supervisor assigns caseloads, reviews documentation, supports compliance and reporting efforts, and resolves complex client issues. Additionally, they collaborate closely with senior leadership on program development, community outreach, staffing, and achieving program goals.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and support a team of three or more Holocaust Survivor Case Managers.
Provide regular performance feedback, conduct staff evaluations, and identify training needs.
Assign and manage caseload distribution to ensure equitable workloads and quality service.
Review and approve client documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and funder regulations.
Serve as the point of escalation for complex client cases and service delivery issues.
Support hiring and onboarding of new team members in collaboration with the Program and Senior Directors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates the activities related to case management to ensure that all clients are served per grant and agency requirements.
Manages a client caseload with daily contact through phone calls, site visits, and processing service requests.
Delivers services based on client needs; completes all required applications, assessments, and eligibility documentation; and proactively researches and connects clients with additional community resources
Provide case management for individual clients, including annual assessments, quarterly check-ins, process emergency service or financial requests, obtain community resources, restitution assistance, resolve service delivery problems, and manage agency and funder records and forms
Establish advocacy relationships with clients, family/guardian, and/or significant others.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must have a Bachelor’s in social work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or related field (or equivalent experience in human services).

Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a case management or human services setting.
Direct client service experience, ideally with aging or vulnerable populations.
Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, and customs.
Fluency in spoken Russian is required due to client population needs.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize, and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage documentation, reporting, and data tracking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with case management databases
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
Ability to lift/carry supplies or equipment up to 25 lbs.
Must be available to work occasional overtime or respond to urgent client needs.
May be required to use personal vehicle for client transportation.
Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance coverage.
