The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and supervision to individuals in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being. This position requires strong communication skills, a background in childcare or social work, and the ability to manage case files effectively. The Monitor will work closely with clients to provide guidance and assistance, fostering a positive environment. Responsibilities Supervise and support individuals in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain accurate case files and documentation related to client progress and activities. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to address needs and concerns. Provide first aid as necessary, ensuring that all health protocols are followed. Assist with home community care initiatives, promoting independence among clients. Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop care plans tailored to individual needs. Participate in training sessions to maintain knowledge of best practices in childcare and case management. Experience Previous experience in childcare or social work is preferred. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is a plus. Certification in first aid is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role. A background in home community care or case management will be beneficial for success in this position.
