In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking services, providing essential support and guidance during their initial interactions with our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work or behavioral health, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments of clients to determine their needs and eligibility for services. Gather and document relevant information through data collection methods, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Provide crisis intervention support as needed, helping clients navigate immediate challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate service plans tailored to individual client needs. Maintain detailed records of client interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies. Assist in connecting clients with community resources and support services. Stay informed about best practices in addiction counseling, childcare, and home community care to enhance service delivery. Experience A background in social work, behavioral health, or related fields is preferred. Experience in crisis intervention and data entry is highly desirable. Familiarity with first aid principles is a plus. Previous experience in addiction counseling or working with children is beneficial. Certification in relevant areas (e.g., social work, behavioral health) is advantageous but not mandatory.
