Our ideal candidate will have some experience handling personal injury cases in the pre-litigation phase, and has an understanding of how to handle personal injury insurance claims. They will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury files from start to finish, including initial client contact, investigation, negotiation, and settlement. We take pride in being accessible to our clients and value strong communication. A case manager will also be responsible for maintaining regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload while maintaining strict attention to detail Locate and interview witnesses, review police reports and medical records, and perform research as necessary Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients Keep clients updated on the status of their cases and ensure that they understand and approve of the actions being taken on their behalf Maintain excellent communication with opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the litigation process Handle administrative tasks such as file management Candidate must be able to handle bodily injury cases from start to finish Heavy communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers. Monitor the client’s medical treatment Draft and send demand packages
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred 1+ years professional experience working with clients in a legal case management capacity Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience working with clients who have experienced trauma and/or catastrophic injuries Familiarity with community resources and referral processes
