The ideal candidate will manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement, working closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to ensure efficient and successful case resolution. Candidates should be hardworking, have a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Handle communication with clients on status of their claims Communicate with insurance agencies and medical providers to gather documents for cases Assist with the administration and management of workflow Locate and develop case relevant information Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence Answer and direct phone calls Maintain contact lists Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars Provide regular updates and maintain a high level of client satisfaction Review medical records for completeness and relevance to the case. Skills Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Computer literacy Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Detail-oriented Excellent secretarial and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
