Case Manager Lead Position Overview:

The Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities of a team of Case Managers supporting applicants in a CDBG-DR funded housing recovery program. This role ensures quality service delivery, compliance with program guidelines, and supports continuous improvement across the applicant lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of Case Managers providing support to homeowners impacted by disaster events. Review case files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with CDBG-DR regulations. Train new case managers and provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and issue resolution. Serve as the point of contact for escalated applicant concerns and policy clarifications. Track performance metrics and produce weekly progress reports for the Case Manager Lead.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis. 3+ years of experience in case management, disaster recovery, or housing assistance. At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role. Familiarity with

CDBG-DR, FEMA

IA, or similar programs preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
