Full Job Description Location:
Eastern Massachusetts (Boston, Lynn, Lowell, New Hampshire, Lawrence, Haverhill, Framingham, and Worcester)
Hours:
36-40 hours/week
Pay:
Starting at $50,000 Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide mentorship, support, and outreach services to young people and their families involved with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF).
What You’ll Do:
Build strong, supportive relationships with youth and their families Create and implement Purpose Sheet (Goals) Conduct weekly home, school, and community visits Support youth participation in peer groups, recreational outings, and other enrichment activities Attend court hearings as needed Help youth overcome behavioral and emotional challenges Collaborate with families, schools, service providers, and other collaterals Make referrals to community resources and services Maintain accurate documentation and reports via Virtual Gateway Attend team meetings and regular supervision
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree (required) Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required) Experience working with youth or in human services preferred Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills A heart for advocacy and a passion for youth empowerment Why Join Us?
