Part-Time Position Summary:
The Treatment Court Case Manager supports the 26th Judicial Circuit Treatment Court by delivering comprehensive case management services to program participants. The Case Manager plays a key role in helping participants achieve recovery, maintain compliance with program requirements, and successfully reintegrate into their communities. This position requires coordination with treatment providers, court personnel, probation officers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent supervision and support for participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor participant progress and compliance with court orders, including attendance at treatment, drug testing, employment, education, and other goals. Maintain contact with participants through in-person meetings and phone calls. Provide ongoing communication and coordination with treatment providers, Probation and Parole, and other stakeholders. Prepare progress reports and case updates for staffing and court hearings. Enter and manage accurate data in treatment court management systems. Facilitate referrals for housing, employment, medical care, mental health services, and other support needs. Attend and participate in treatment court team meetings and status review hearings. Participate in training, conferences, and continuing education relevant to the role. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Thorough organizational skills and the ability to quickly learn and grasp a knowledge of court procedures and legal principles related to treatment courts. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on urgency and importance.
Recommended:
Familiarity with treatment court models, substance use disorders, mental health treatment, and the operational principles of recovery-oriented courts. Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with judges, attorneys, court staff, treatment/service providers, Probation and Parole officers, law enforcement, and the general public. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of integrity and ability to maintain participant confidentiality in accordance with court policy and applicable laws (e.g., HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2).
Required Minimum Education and Experience:
A minimum of two years of related professional experience or a college degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Public Administration) is recommended. How to
