Offer mentoring and support to clients, helping them build skills for workforce development. Facilitate access to housing resources, including Section 8 assistance. Collaborate with community organizations and service providers to coordinate care and resources. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their decision-making processes. Supervise interns or volunteers as needed, providing guidance and support in case management practices. Stay informed about current trends in social work, child welfare, addiction counseling, and related fields. Experience A background in social work or a related field is preferred. Experience with crisis intervention and crisis management techniques is essential. Familiarity with child welfare systems and addiction counseling is highly desirable. Previous experience in mentoring or supervising others is a plus. Knowledge of workforce development strategies will enhance effectiveness in this role.
