FLACRA is seeking acompassionate and dedicated Housing Case Manager to assist programparticipants in securing and maintaining stable housing whilehelping them achieve financial independence. This role involvesproviding case management, vocational counseling, and support toclients as they work towards housing stability. The Housing CaseManager plays a key role in guiding participants through thehousing process, building relationships with landlords, andensuring compliance with housing regulations. As a Housing CareManager, your primary role will be to support clients inmaintaining stable housing and enhancing their overall well-being.

This involves conducting home visits to assess living conditions,offering guidance, and assisting with tasks such as budgeting, homeupkeep, and accessing available resources. This position requiresthe use of your personal vehicle for travel to clients’ residencesfor meetings and check-ins. In some cases, you may also need toprovide transportation for clients to appointments, shopping, orother essential outings based on their individual needs. Success inthis role requires a compassionate and proactive approach, ensuringclients receive the necessary support and tools to sustain theirhousing and live independently.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Valid NYS Driver’s License.

At least one year of experience in vocational counseling.

Experience working in a behavioral healthcare setting. Strongwritten and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitaskeffectively. Ability to remain composed and professional inchallenging situations.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Associate’sDegree or higher in Health or Human Services. 2 years of experienceworking in Behavioral Health. Experience in crisis management.
