Job Description
Older Adult Protective Services Worker (Social Work) Ursuline Support Services 2717 Murray Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 The agency is a subcontractor for the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging. Responsibilities include receiving, screening, referring and maintaining records of reports of elder abuse. Conducting investigations of neglect, abuse, abandonment and exploitation. Completing assessments and developing care plans for seniors at risk. Referring cases for court ordered interventions and guardianship. Position requires one 24 hour on-call week approximately every ten to twelve weeks. Travel is required throughout the Allegheny County service area. The position requires visits to various settings in the community which include private residences, care facilities, and hospitals. Position requires investigators to work in the office and remotely throughout the week. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A new-hire bonus is available quarterly and will total $3,600 over 24 months.
