Job Description

Crisis Worker•Central Bucks County 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 Join our Premier Bucks County Crisis Team where you will support members of the community who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. You will provide an initial assessment and work with the clients to establish a plan for them and their family moving forward. This is a fast-paced role with no two shifts ever being the same. This role is embedded in the Penn Medicine Doylestown Health (PMDH) Emergency Room, located in Doylestown, PA. Full and Part Time Shifts are currently available

Available Shifts:

Full-Time Friday | Saturday | Sunday 6:30 am•7:00 pm

Part-Time:

Every Other Thursday 6:30 am•7:00 pm Every Monday 6:30 pm•7:00 am

LVF What You Offer:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, gerontology, criminal justice, theology, nursing or counseling; or be a registered nurse Two years of experience in public or private human services with one year of direct mental health care experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer proficiency Ability to perform the physical requirement of the job description, with or without accommodation.

What You’ll Do:

Monitor 24-hour call crisis center Provide triage, support, crisis counseling, information, and referrals Perform face to face level of care assessment and facilitate connections to appropriate level of care Provide face to face crisis counseling and planning Process applications for involuntary commitment and arrange emergency psychiatric evaluation as needed About Lenape Valley Foundation Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) is a premier, non-profit provider of essential human services since 1958. Pay:

$21.30•$24.95 per hour Expected hours: No less than 12.5 per week
