We are seeking an individual that desires to make a change inthe lives of young adults through career counseling, mentorship,and education. Our goal is to connect youth to education andemployment opportunities that will enable them to effectively enterthe workforce. You will get paid to feel fulfilled at work. ProgramOverview The Out of School Youth (OSY) program is for low-incomeyoung adults (ages 18 24) disconnected from education andemployment. It is funded through the Workforce Innovations andOpportunity Act in Prince George County. Eligible participantsestablish a Career Pathway with individualized education andemployment goals, at no charge to the participant. It is our goalto train / educate / mentor our youth participants and enable themto achieve the skills needed to join the workforce in a meaningfulcareer. Career Navigator – Job Description Recruit, enroll, andconnect participants to education and employment resources withexceptional case management services. Ensure enrolled participantsstay connected with the program and make incremental gains towardstheir Career Pathway goals. Deliver case management services toparticipants in person, by phone, and virtually. Appropriatelydocument participant services their case notes. It is the CareerNavigators responsibility to identify and remediate barriers tosuccessfully completing the program and funnel participants to theappropriate resources. Qualifications Required QualificationsStrong desire to effect change in young adults professionaldevelopment Ability to interact professionally with participants tomotivate them to achieve their goals Possess strong interpersonalskills and a general knowledge of workforce policies and proceduresIntermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Suite and use ofremote presentation platforms Ability to meet and / or exceedmonthly performance expectations Must possess a valid in-stateDrivers License and meet the Company insurability requirements.

Desired Qualifications Associates Degree from an accrediteduniversity. Direct experience may be substituted.

English and Spanish Experience in Human and Social Services relatedfield and case management
