Then we want YOU to join us at The Mentor Connector , Rutland County’s youth mentoring powerhouse! We’re on the lookout for a passionate Program Case Manager to help lead the charge in creating powerful mentoring connections for local youth. You’ll work side-by-side with an awesome team, train and support inspiring mentors, and support youth as they build the future they imagine while enjoying a flexible, fun, and supportive workplace. What You’ll Do (You’re Day to Day Adventure):
- Connect with the community to recruit amazing mentors and youth
- Lead engaging and interactive trainings for mentors
- Be the go-to support for mentor/youth matches through meaningful case management
- Team up with schools, community partners, and agencies to advocate and build strong connections
- Plan fun, meaningful group events with a Mentor Advisory Team that promote life skills, education, and career exploration and build community within the program
- Keep things organized with accurate, confidential paperwork and data collection
- Show up at exciting outreach events and represent The Mentor Connector with pride
- Stay on top of the latest trends in mentoring and youth development
- Help out wherever needed—we’re a team that pitches in and allows us to use our strengths and passion to get the work done
What Makes You Shine:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field (or similar experience)
- Experience working with youth and families, especially those overcoming challenges
- A great communicator who loves people and thrives in a collaborative environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A problem-solver with a “let’s make it happen” attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours—some evenings and weekends included
- You have your own reliable ride and don’t mind hitting the road around Rutland County (20% travel)
- Criminal background and driver’s check required Bonus Points if
You Have:
- Experience with trauma-informed care
- Knowledge of issues related to homelessness, substance misuse, or mental health
What You’ll Get:
