Role:
We’re looking for a passionate, community-minded professional to lead Women’s Philanthropy at the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven. This is a relationship-based role where you’ll connect with women in our local Jewish community, plan meaningful programs and events, and help inspire support for causes that matter. If you love bringing people together and want to make a real difference in the Jewish community, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do:
Build strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and community members Plan events and programs that connect and inspire Work closely with lay leaders and volunteers on fundraising efforts Ask for donations in person, by phone, and at events Support long-term giving and legacy efforts Work some evenings and weekends for events and programs Why Work With Us? Minimum Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in fundraising, community engagement, sales, or customer service Experience soliciting for gifts Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working with donors and volunteers of all ages A strong connection to the Jewish community in Greater New Haven Organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented Nice to
Have:
Experience planning events or managing volunteers Familiarity with Jewish traditions and community values
Salary:
$55,000 – $65,000
