Full Job Description Overview:
The Development Coordinator manages a portfolio of national and local corporate partners and programs to increase market awareness and financial support for Children’s Miracle Network benefitting UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Responsibilities include managing corporate partner relationships, point-of-sale campaigns, peer-to-peer fundraising programs including Dance Marathon at UF, special events, the CMN Ambassador Family program, donor stewardship & recognition, marketing support and financial reconciliation. The Development Coordinator will represent UF Health and the UF Health Office of Advancement at all internal and external events and must be flexible and available for weekend and evening programs.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of experience in fundraising, community relations, sales or marketing required; equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for the degree (based on a year-by-year basis). Experience with Children’s Miracle Network Programs is highly desirable. Must have the ability to work well with corporate executives, volunteers, patient families, the media and general public. Strong leadership, public speaking, communication and computer skills required. Experience coordinating special events/promotions, recruiting and managing volunteers, along with strong organization and planning skills preferred. Candidates should be creative, self-driven, and looking to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint require and experience with database applications, such as Raiser’s Edge, preferred. Experience with social media applications preferred, not required.

Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a ‘frequent driver’.
