This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about community engagement, capable of leading projects, and skilled in managing volunteers. The Outreach Coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders to educate the community, recruit volunteers, and facilitate fundraising efforts to support public health programs. Responsibilities Runs the referrals department by receiving and coordinating referrals for Clinical, ABA and TCM departments Maintaining community relations with all referral sources and community partners Organizes and keeps the referral and authorization tracking log Maintains data and stats for clients referred for services and services delivery Coordinates/assigns clients to available therapists Maintains updated on therapists availability and turn around times for services delivery Completes authorizations and re-authorization requests Serves as the liaison between the organization and the insurance plans Enters auths to system Completes calls for medical necessity with the plans Communicates with all staff regarding auth availability Provides clinical services and maintains a caseload of 12-15 active clients in the mental health/behavioral programs. Completes Intakes and Assessments (1 CBHA counts for 5 Intakes if applicable) Experience Proven experience in public health or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for educating diverse audiences. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Mental Health within the community while developing valuable skills in project management and leadership.
