The Opportunity:

The Annual Giving Coordinator is a frontline digital fundraiser who builds and strengthens relationships with UCF donors and prospects. Using digital-first tools and personalized outreach, the coordinator stewards annual giving donors and encourages deeper engagement with the university. This role is part of a forward-thinking, collaborative team at the leading edge of modern donor relations and fundraising.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of 1,000+ annual giving donors through personalized digital outreach (email, text, video, phone, and social media). Execute consistent monthly and quarterly outreach touchpoints, averaging 40-50 outbound interactions per day. Meet and exceed defined performance metrics, including dollars raised, virtual meetings, and donor solicitations. Demonstrate knowledge of UCF’s impact and share content aligned with donor interests and philanthropic goals. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Alumni Engagement, Advancement Communications, Athletics, and Development to align outreach with broader campaigns. Identify and refer high-capacity donors to leadership or major gift officers. Steward donor relationships and solicit gifts for annual fund and cause-based campaigns. Develop internal connections with faculty and university partners to connect donors with meaningful engagement opportunities. Monitor donor engagement trends, track activity, and adapt outreach strategies for optimal results.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in fundraising within higher education or a nonprofit organization. Proficiency in email platforms, CRM systems, social media, video messaging tools, or donor engagement software. A passion for storytelling and the ability to connect donors to the university’s mission and impact. Familiarity with the University of Central Florida is a plus. The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities: Comfortable working in a goal-oriented environment with regular performance metrics.
