Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Outreach Coordinator to join our team. The Outreach Coordinator will play a critical role in building relationships with veterans, employers, and community organizations. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a passion for supporting our nation’s heroes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage businesses and companies to partner and support combat veterans and connect them with career resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local and national businesses, community organizations, and veterans’ groups.
  • Organize and facilitate emails, calls, workshops and events and networking events tailored for veterans.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and track engagement metrics.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to insights and progress with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance program offerings and support services.
Qualifications:
  • Great people skills required
  • Experience in outreach, public relations, or community organizing, particularly with veterans or military families, is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for veteran advocacy and a strong commitment to serving those who have served.
