Outreach Coordinator Washington County Regional Medical Center 610 Sparta Road, Sandersville, GA 31082
Position Summary:
Represents Washington County Regional Medical Center while providing outreach to the community and collaborating with various community organizations, schools, and businesses to build strong partnerships while conducting research to determine further needs of the community. The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for strategizing outreach efforts, coordinating events and providing educational material and information to the community showcasing all of the services and specialties available at Washington County Regional Medical Center. This position will handle public relations, create marketing materials, and manage administrative duties. This is a Full-Time Position.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required 2.
Licensure:
None 3.
Experience:
One (1) year of Outreach and/or Marketing experience required 4.
Skills:
Ability to communicate intelligently and in a professional manner Integrity, imagination, and initiative Good problem-solving skills Networking and relationship-building expertise Ability to deal tactfully with the public, patients, and family members. Ability to work independently with drive, enthusiasm, creativity, and flexibility 5.
Physical:
Must be in general good health and emotionally stable Passes initial physical required prior to employment Possess sight and hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable the employee to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be freely met. Can perform job functions with proper technique Can handle and operate the equipment of the tasks assigned. Passes required annual physical examination Frequent prolonged standing/walking Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching 6.

Working Conditions:
May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases May be subject to electrical, radiant energy, flammable and explosive gas hazards Will work inside under normal temperature conditions, with adequate light in well-ventilated and clean areas. Some areas may have limited space Will work around ‘others and sometimes moderate noise May be exposed to unpleasant patient elements (accidents, illnesses, injuries) May be subject to confined space May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, body fluids and waste May be exposed to needles and sharp instruments May be exposed to/occasionally exposed to patient elements Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Travel may be required.
