Job Title:
Community Health Event Coordinator Job Summary We are looking for a mission-driven and detail-oriented Community Health Event Coordinator to support our healthcare initiatives across diverse markets. This role is central to helping plan and execute events in partnership with faith-based groups, community-based organizations (CBOs), health clinics, and resource hubs. You will coordinate logistics, liaise with local partners, and ensure our events deliver health education, screenings, and social services that align with client and community needs. Key Responsibilities Lead the coordination of community health events, including health fairs, pop-ups, mobile resource centers, and outreach activations. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to schedule, plan, and execute events that support population health goals. Engage with faith-based leaders, nonprofit staff, and clinic administrators to co-design events that are culturally responsive and impactful. Manage logistics such as vendor coordination, site setup, transportation, materials, and staffing. Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, including health plans and partner organizations, to ensure alignment on goals and expectations. Coordinate Community Health Workers (CHWs) and volunteers to ensure smooth event operations and service delivery. Track event attendance, health screenings, and key metrics to support reporting and continuous improvement. Support outreach and promotional efforts to drive attendance and community engagement. Assist in coordinating recurring events for grant-funded initiatives and special projects. Requirements Experience coordinating events, especially in healthcare, nonprofit, or community settings. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects across different markets. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with community partners and internal teams. Comfort working with diverse populations, including Medicaid/Medicare members, faith-based groups, and underserved communities. Ability to travel locally for events, as needed. Passion for health equity and making healthcare more accessible at the grassroots level. Knowledge of health screenings, public health principles, or community health work is a plus. Experience with Google Workspace or other project management tools preferred.
