Community Outreach Specialist The Enhancenent Center 4065 Powhatan Road, Clayton, NC 27520 Specific Duties 1. Works to identify new referral sources, cultivate existing referral sources, produce self2. generated leads, and contribute to increasing census, maintaining consumer retention and minimizing attrition.3. Recommends and implements initiatives that manage the target audience’s perception of the agency.4. Establish and build a positive image of The Enhancement Center, Inc in the primary marketing area. Screens prospective consumers on both the acute and community setting.5. Performs on-site clinical and financial assessments to determine appropriateness of admissions. Completes admission paperwork with the responsible party, family member, guardian, or consumer upon admission.6. Ensure that the admission packet is completed in a timely manner (within 24 hours of admission).7. Completes and submits the initial patient centered plan.8. Designs and develops marketing and promotional materials for the agency. These shall include, but are not limited to fliers, brochures, news releases, fact sheets, and newsletters.9. Coordinates special events for the agency and the community. 10. Assists Department Heads and staff with the promotion and coordination of any events they may need assistance with.11. Maintains data on census (inquiries, admissions, discharges, and referral sources. Maintains data on customer satisfaction.12. Provides charts, graphs, and data on marketing analysis and census development to the Executive Director as needed.13. Provides yearly and monthly Board reports. Maintains a file of all new media coverage. 14. Attends monthly Quality Assurance meeting and provides a marketing report.15. Develops a Community Outreach Team, which will meet monthly and develop ways to promote and market the agency.16. The Community Outreach Team will also assist as a back-up team for inquiries, tours, and admission when the Outreach Coordinator is not available.17. Assist program QPs in oversight and coverage in the PSR program as needed18. . Other related duties as assigned by Program Director, Administrative Officer or Executive Director Educaonal
