Full Job Description Overview:

As the Community Outreach Lead at Apogee Behavioral Medicine, you will build and nurture relationships within the healthcare community to increase patient referrals and support organizational growth. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships, coordinating community initiatives, and representing the company at community events. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure outreach activities align with our mission and strategic objectives. This position is essential for enhancing Apogee Behavioral Medicine’s visibility and credibility within the healthcare community.

Responsibilities:

Community Relationship Development:

Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and referral sources to enhance patient acquisition and strengthen referral networks. •

Strategic Partnership Management:

Develop strategic partnerships with key community stakeholders and healthcare entities, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth and patient engagement objectives. •

Outreach Event Coordination:

Plan, coordinate, and execute community outreach events, such as health fairs, educational workshops, and networking meetings, to increase Apogee Behavioral Medicine’s visibility and brand awareness. •

Referral Tracking and Reporting:

Implement and manage systems to track referral sources and effectiveness of outreach activities. Regularly analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights. •

Market Intelligence:

Monitor healthcare community trends, competitor activities, and community needs. Use insights to inform outreach strategies and enhance organizational positioning. •

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with internal departments, including marketing, clinical operations, and provider teams, to align outreach strategies with organizational objectives. •

Representation:

Actively represent Apogee Behavioral Medicine at community meetings, healthcare conferences, and networking events. Foster strong relationships and build trust within the healthcare community. •

Budget Oversight:

Manage budgets for community outreach activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints. •

Promotional Material Coordination:

Work with marketing and communications teams to create compelling outreach materials and informational resources tailored to community partners and referral sources. •

Training and Support:

Educate internal teams on community outreach strategies and the importance of maintaining strong referral relationships.

Qualifications:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, or related field preferred.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in community outreach, business development, healthcare relations, or a related role. • Prior experience within healthcare, particularly in behavioral health, strongly preferred.

Industry Knowledge:

• Familiarity with healthcare community dynamics and referral processes. • Understanding of behavioral health landscape and related community organizations.

Communication Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to engage and present effectively to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems for tracking and reporting. • Familiarity with analytics tools for performance tracking.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret referral data and community engagement metrics. • Capability to translate analysis into strategic outreach decisions.

Project Management:

• Excellent organizational and project management skills. • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and manage deadlines effectively.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a talent for relationship-building. • Comfortable interacting with healthcare professionals, executives, and community leaders.
