Studio Manager Position Summary:
Join a creatively charged Company that’s growing! Hammar’s Studios offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious studio manager to lead and grow within a dynamic, artistic atmosphere! The Studio Manager is a key leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth and brand awareness for Hammar’s Studios while leading a small team of associate artists and artisans. This role combines management, sales, marketing strategies, studio operations and community engagement to achieve annual revenue targets through effective leadership, customer service, CRM management, selling and overseeing events, and proactive community outreach.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
Train, mentor, and develop the sales team to maximize their potential and performance. This includes setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive and motivating work environment. Conduct regular team meetings to set goals, share updates, and encourage team collaboration. Sales Management Develop and execute strategic sales strategies to achieve enrollment and annual revenue targets. Drives a high level of Customer service & engagement at the Studio storefront level Identify and cultivate new clients and community partnerships. Manage and grow the Company’s CRM database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date client information. Operates the booking process for parties and events, ensuring smooth operations and high client satisfaction. Create proposals, negotiate contracts and agreements with clients. Marketing Strategy Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans incorporating various strategies (digital, print, social media, community engagement) to promote awareness and attract new clients. Create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, website content, and social media posts, and product/program listings within the Company’s software system. Maintain and grow the company’s online presence and brand image. Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvement. Community Outreach & CRM Is the “director of first impressions” at the Studio storefront; engaging with clients, Instructors and providing superior customer service. Follow up with Clients and Instructors following events to ensure Customer satisfaction. Identify and cultivate community partnerships to facilitate event sponsorships and fundraising activities. Coordinate and execute local fundraising events to generate revenue and enhance brand visibility within the community. Develop and implement effective community outreach strategies to increase engagement and support. Build and nurture relationships with local influencers and key opinion leaders to amplify brand messages. Operations & Administration Manage the sales process from initial contact through proposals and client contracts. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and marketing campaigns. Prepare reports on sales performance, marketing ROI, and key metrics to management. Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships in a community-focused environment. Experience with marketing materials development (brochures, websites, etc.). Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing strategies. Strong understanding of CRM principles, marketing methodologies, and fundraising strategies. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in sales management, marketing, and/or a related field, ideally within the creative or visual arts sector.
Skills:
Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Ability to negotiate and close deals. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong understanding of community relations, fundraising, and event planning. Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools, and event management software.
