Summary:

The Alumni Coordinator is responsible for enhancing and expanding Pyramid’s alumni program to foster a more authentic, engaging, and impactful community experience for former clients. This role aims to increase alumni involvement, strengthen community connections, and support admissions and marketing efforts by leveraging alumni relationships. By providing consistent outreach and structured programming, the Alumni Coordinator will alleviate workload from site teams and ensure a meaningful, long-term connection between alumni and the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Organize and lead alumni meetings at each site that are engaging and focused on recovery-related and community topics. Develop and maintain built-in alumni groups to foster collaboration, connection, and ongoing support. Implement a personalized call system to check in with alumni after discharge, promote program benefits, and encourage continued involvement. Create outreach strategies aligned with Pyramid’s values that make alumni feel heard and valued. Leverage alumni relationships to support marketing and admissions goals, including increasing lead generation and program awareness. Act as a centralized alumni contact and resource, reducing the burden on site teams and helping integrate alumni engagement into their local operations. Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None Required Qualifications Education, Licensure, & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working in the substance use disorder and/or mental health field preferred. Experience in client engagement, peer support, outreach, or related roles is a plus. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Basic understanding of CRM tools or comfort learning software to track outreach and engagement (e.g., Salesforce). Passion for community-building and recovery support work. Ability to travel to sites and events as needed. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must seldom lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
