About the Role As the Serve the Church Coordinator , you’ll take the lead in engaging volunteers across a variety of ministries and serve teams. You’ll champion the Serve the Church (STC) initiative, equip team leaders, oversee scheduling and planning, and implement ways to appreciate those who give their time and talents to the body. Your work will directly impact the health and strength of our church community. Key Responsibilities Lead the Serve the Church initiative across both campuses—from vision casting to execution. Create commitment forms, schedules, and team trainings to support church-wide serving. Equip and support non-ministry specific serve teams (Connect, Facility, Safety, Parking, Special Events). Manage scheduling and communication using Planning Center. Oversee a childcare volunteer team for special church events throughout the year. Champion volunteer appreciation by implementing fun, meaningful, and creative ways to celebrate those who serve. Collaborate closely with pastors, elders, deacons, and team leaders to promote a unified vision of service. Who You Are A natural connector and encourager who thrives on helping others find their place to serve. Detail-oriented and organized, with strong administrative skills and a heart for ministry. Comfortable leading meetings, coordinating schedules, and balancing multiple projects. Spiritually mature, mission-driven, and aligned with the vision and values of Christ Covenant.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree required

Experience:
