out of 5 stars 2424 Webb Gin House Rd, Snellville, GA 30078 Job Overview Cannon United Methodist Church in Snellville, GA, has an immediate need for a part-time (20 hours/week) Director of Children’s Ministries to help our congregation share God’s love with young children and their families. Our ideal candidate is passionately committed to helping children grow in faith, hope, and love. We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative, leader who can engage children, involve parents/guardians, and empower volunteers in pursuit of our calling to multiply love by following Jesus . Qualifications Active, personal, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ Personal theology consistent with United Methodism Training, education, and experience sufficient to accomplish the job responsibilities Required Skills and Abilities Our ideal candidate has demonstrated expertise in the following areas:

BE THE FACE OF CANNON KIDS

Represent Cannon Kids, our ministry with children, in a positive, encouraging, and welcoming way in our community and with our congregation.

PRIORITIZE RELATIONSHIPS

Engage and befriend young children and their families

LEAD CHRISTIAN PROGRAMMING FOR PRE-K THROUGH 5TH GRADE

Prepare, present, and assess effectiveness of ministry programming for Cannon Kids, including Sunday school, children’s church, special events, and seasonal offerings.

SUPPORT CANNON CHURCH

Participate in weekly staff meetings and monthly Church Council meetings; advocate for greater, more fruitful integration of children and their families in the life of the church. Requires physical presence approximately 3 days per week, including every Sunday at: Cannon

Webb Ginn House Road Snellville, Georgia 30078 Reports to the Senior Pastor, Cannon UMC Eligible for 10 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year.
