Youth and Children Ministry Director Job Description Mission:
Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world Hillsboro United Methodist Church has an opening for a youth and children ministry director. This is a part-time job
- 10-15 hours/ week plus occasional weekend events and mission trips.
Pay is $25/hr. We are a small, healthy rural church looking for a team member to facilitate discipleship for the children and youth of our parish. Hillsboro is an inclusive church; committed to life together as Jesus followers in the Wesleyan tradition. We value inter-generational ministry and empowerment of emergent leadership within each of us. We meet for worship on Sunday mornings and have weekly youth and children programming on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Responsibilities Include
- Lesson planning
- Volunteer recruitment and management
- Spiritual guidance in coordination with lead pastor
- Event planning and implementation
- Background check required
