Job:
The College Admissions Representative is responsible for recruiting, advising, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process. This role involves providing detailed information about academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, and the overall student experience. The representative acts as the first point of contact and plays a key role in helping applicants make informed decisions about their educational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote the college’s programs through high school visits, college fairs, community events, and online platforms. Build relationships with prospective students, parents, school counselors, and community organizations. Conduct presentations and information sessions to showcase academic offerings and student services. Provide one-on-one admissions counseling to prospective students in person, by phone, email, or video call. Assist applicants with understanding program options, admission requirements, and application procedures. Evaluate applications and transcripts for completeness and eligibility. Guide students through the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Financial Aid, Registrar, Academic Advising) to ensure a smooth transition for new students. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions in the CRM or student database system. Conduct campus tours and organize on-site or virtual events for prospective students and families. Collaborate with faculty and student services to provide relevant insights during campus visits. Track and report on recruitment and enrollment goals. Analyze trends in applications, inquiries, and enrollments to support strategic planning. Previous work experience is required.
