This position involves engaging with prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and providing essential information about academic programs. The Admissions Officer will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure a seamless experience for students from inquiry to enrollment. Duties Conduct outreach and recruitment activities to attract prospective students. Provide comprehensive information about academic programs, admissions requirements, and campus resources. Educate potential applicants on the benefits of attending our university and assist them in completing their applications. Offer academic advising to prospective students, helping them understand their options and make informed decisions. Organize and participate in campus tours, open houses, and informational sessions to promote the university. Utilize Ellucian software for managing student data and tracking admissions processes. Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with institutional goals. Engage in public speaking opportunities at high schools, college fairs, and community events to represent the university. Skills Strong background in recruiting and education administration. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Experience working directly with students, providing guidance and support throughout the admissions process. Familiarity with academic advising principles and practices. Proficiency in using Ellucian or similar student information systems is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively across departments within a university setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
