Full Job Description Admissions Director:

This position coordinates and enhances the facility’s inquiry, admission, and marketing process. Provides customers with information via personal visits, market assessments, conversations, and follow-up. Conducting on-site evaluations of patient referrals and complete daily sales calls on target market and referrals

Job Description :

Takes inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc.; gives tours; and handles the admission process. Identifying needs of the patients/families and directing referrals to facilities. Identifying needs of the target market and represent the facilities at community partner meetings. Maintain accurate bed availability. Ensures responses to inquiries are handled properly, timely, and with appropriate follow-up. Accurately complete required information for pre-admission financial verification. Demonstrate a sense of urgency regarding census/premium mix enhancement and management. Prepare appropriate admission papers and obtain signatures from residents or responsible parties prior to admission. Ensures company processes are followed to ensure a timely clinical and financial approval process. Ensures consistent and effective process for coordination of admissions and bed management with appropriate departments and staff. Serves as a member of the marketing team to enhance resident and community relations. Assist in preparing inquiry summary reports, an inquiry log, and other reports as required. Assist in maintaining a database of medical contacts/community resources.

Requirements:

Admissions:

1 year (Preferred) experience. Experience working in a SNF is required. Must be able to work weekend and overtime as required. Knowledge of reimbursement programs from payer sources. Ability to work flexible hours as responsibilities may dictate. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
