Flexible, 20 hours/week, on-campus or from home Position Summary The admissions counselor builds relationships with prospective students and guides them through the admissions process. The Admissions Counselor may work with non- degree, undergraduate, masters-level, or doctoral students to help them become students at WBS. The position requires a high level of phone calls, text messages, and emails. Duties and Responsibilities Manage the admissions process for individual students, including communicating information, tracking documents, updating files, and onboarding accepted students. Build relationships with prospective students and be the primary WBS representative with whom they interact. Efficiently help students complete the various steps of the application process. Work within the system that has been set up to recruit students, while maximizing its effectiveness with a personal touch. Be a team player who helps meet the overall enrollment goals under the leadership of the director of admissions Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience in marketing, school admissions, sales, or customer service preferred Excellent verbal and written communications skills Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to effectively work on a team Well-developed work ethic with the ability to independently organize and prioritize work with little supervision
