POSITION SUMMARY

The Provider Enrollment Coordinator (PEC) will perform the insurance enrollment of all oncoming providers. The PEC will also handle all current staff provider and facility enrollment renewals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure all providers are enrolled with the private insurance groups and the Center has signed contracts as well as Medicare, SC Medicaid, NC Tracks, and other insurance groups as needed. Ensure that all provider information is updated in the CAQH system as required by CAQH. Ensure using the correct applications for insurance enrollment with carriers. Ensure follow-up on submitted enrollment applications is done timely. Work at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with vendors, staff and physicians. Use of Intellisoft database to maintain and track insurance enrollments. Update monthly insurance enrollment reports and distribute appropriately. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma Two years’ experience with insurance and/or provider credentialing. Word processing and Excel required.
