TCAT Jackson Job Summary The Dual Enrollment Officer will work under the supervision of the Dual Enrollment Coordinator. The individual shall be responsible for assisting with duties related to high school dual enrollment and the support of the college. Some travel may be required. Job Duties Minimum Qualifications • Requires a high school diploma; technical diploma, or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in education, business or industry.
Contact and communicate with secondary guidance counselors, principals, superintendents, teachers, and students in high schools throughout the service delivery area.
Assist high school students, faculty, and staff with completing applications and paperwork.
Assist with the admissions process and registration of new and returning students.
File applications electronically for students as needed.
Maintain files accurately and prepare and process records and reports.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively analyzing data and inquiries, and making appropriate decisions.
Other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Must have strong interpersonal skills, pleasant demeanor, and professionalism with coworkers, students, and the public. Display high effort, dedication, and commitment toward work; operate utilizing the efficient and organizational structure while demonstrating trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions.
