QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in nutrition, public health or closely related field and a minimum of one-year responsible experience at the level licensed Nutritionist; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.

SPECIAL REQUIRMENT

Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration/Credentialing Agency of the American Dietetic Association and licensure by the Alabama State Board of Examiners for Dietetics/Nutrition Practice.
