Purpose Statement:
The School Relations Coordinator plays an integral role in the operations and advancement of the School Relations department/Schools United mission. School Relations/Schools United will play a vital role in the advancement of Christian education through peer networks for Christian education professionals, the sharing of resources, and professional development opportunities.
Scope:
The full-time School Relations Coordinator is a strategic partner of the School Relations team and is passionate about supporting the cause of advancing Christian education through the promotion, initiation, and maintenance of Schools United peer networks and conferences around the world.
Specific Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of School Relations administratively and with projects as needed. Assist the Director of School Relations in the recruitment of education professionals for Schools United peer networks. Assist in the facilitation of Schools United peer network meetings. Assist the Director of School Relations with the management of Schools United yearly calendar of events and tasks. Responsible for creating and maintaining data spreadsheets to track engagement with Schools United schools, peer networks, professionals, sponsors, partners, and prospective members. Assist the Director of School Relations in the implementation of email software (Mailchimp) and email calendar. Be a part of the Schools United Professional Development conference team, assisting in logistics and planning. Assist the Director of School Relations in management of social media content calendar. You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 35 lbs.

Effective written, listening, and verbal communication skills when interacting with CCA staff and other professionals in the Schools United network. Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with staff members, leadership, and the school body High level of initiative, conscientiousness, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong proficiency with Microsoft and Google programs. The ability to project manage, organize, prioritize, and multi-task. Spiritually, mentally and emotionally mature. Displays sound spiritual leadership as outlined in I Timothy 3; Titus 2 & 3. Gifts of the Holy Spirit in operation daily. Keeps confidential matters confidential.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm This is a full-time salary non-exempt year-round (12-month) position. You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.
