Summary As a Teen Advisor at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County, you will play a vital role in mentoring, facilitating programs and supporting teens in our Clubs, Schools and Community. This position is essential for fostering personal growth and development among teens, helping them navigate challenges while promoting positive behaviors and career & life skills. Responsibilities Provide guidance and mentorship to teens, helping them set and achieve personal goals. Facilitate character & leadership programs that promote life skills, conflict resolution, and social responsibility and career readiness. Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Engage with schools and guidance counselors to recruit teens. Monitor the well-being of teens and address any behavioral or emotional concerns. Requirements Experience in education or youth development preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with teens and families. Knowledge of child welfare practices and principles. Ability to manage conflicts and provide constructive feedback. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
