Salaried/Exempt Overview St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School, within the Diocese of Venice in Florida, Inc. works diligently to support and strengthen the Catholic Church and its value system. By word and example teachers support all of the official religious teachings of the Catholic Church throughout their personal and professional lives. Job Responsibilities Organizes and administers programs and campaigns within the community to solicit support for capital projects approved by the principal. Makes recommendations regarding programs to engender public support and improve the public image of the school in the community including the preparation of appropriate public relations printed materials, press releases, and scheduling public speaking engagements with local civic groups and associations. Is responsible for coordinating all Planned Giving and Endowment Programs in accordance with the by-laws and the mission established by the School Foundation. Attends meetings of the School Board as requested and coordinates with the School Board’s Marketing Committee. Serves as the school’s coordinator of annual giving programs. Prepares the materials for and coordinates the Annual Fund. Makes recommendations regarding programs for engendering public support and improving relations between the community at large and the school. Develops fundraising activities to benefit all school programs. Coordinates all alumni functions and activities including class reunions. Oversees the annual auction. Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Management or Administration Prefer experience in coordinating major events and working with various stakeholders. Must be able to provide leadership, planning, and management of the Advancement Office 2-3 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, communications, and/or High School Catholic education Proficient with technology including Word, Excel and Office Excellent verbal and written communication, and organizational skills; ability to multitask. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with staff and faculty.
