Job Description
A wonderful family of 7 in Pinecrest require an experienced Family Assistant to join them. The right candidate for this role will have a background in Nannying or teaching, is a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills and fluent English. You will work well in a team alongside the parents and will be a professional representation of the family.
Start date:
mid-August, with flexibility for the right fit.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7am – 5pm daily.
Travel:
Flexibility for 1 x 1 week trip away per year, and 1 x 1 week live-in if the parents travel without the children
Children:
16yo, 14yo, 11yo, 7yo and 5yo
Duties:
School pick up and drop off Transporting children to after school activities Supervising homework and tutoring (tutors come to the home) Running errands Grocery shopping Meal planning and meal prep (basic dinners with a focus on fresh and healthy; e.g. protein, rice/ noodles & vegetables, family style pasta dish, etc.) Children’s laundry Keeping children’s area’s tidy/ organized The primary focus and priority of this role is the children, their safety and wellbeing. Grocery shopping, errands and meal prep can be taken care of during the day whilst the children are in school, with afternoons focused on the after school logistics and ensuring school projects and educational activities take priority over screentime.
Requirements:
5+ years of full time experience in a similar role, working with similar aged children Excellent communication and fluent English Current Drivers License with clean driving record Local to the area (local commute) Compensation is BOE – please submit salary requirements.
