Fatherhood Coach – Part Time 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Shalimar, FL 32579 Fatherhood Coach (Part-Time) A local company in Shalimar, Florida is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Fatherhood Coach to support our T.E.A.M. Dad program. This statewide initiative is designed to enhance the health and well-being of children and families by encouraging and strengthening the role of fathers in their children’s lives. The Fatherhood Coach is a clinical social work role responsible for providing direct services to fathers through individualized case management and group sessions, in accordance with program policies and procedures. This position utilizes an evidence-based curriculum and will also require commuting to Walton County.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based parenting curriculum in both group and one-on-one settings Recruit and engage fathers through community outreach and education Establish and maintain partnerships with local service organizations Provide case management and coordinate care plans tailored to individual fathers Document all services in the T.E.A.M. Dad data system and internal reporting tools Support the program through participation in community events and inter-agency collaboration Provide services in office settings, community venues, and clients’ homes as needed Assist with program activities in neighboring counties, if required Maintain consistent communication with the program supervisor to ensure alignment on goals, updates, and client needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of professional experience in public health, social work, nursing, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, healthcare, or a related field OR associate degree with three years of relevant experience Strong computer skills; detail-oriented, fast learner, self-motivated Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with diverse populations Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed Experience in maternal and child health is a plus Bilingual candidates preferred Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug test and state/federal background checks
Compensation and Benefits:
