Assigned Middle and High School Campuses Position Summary:

The Supervisor of School-Based Behavioral Health Services provides leadership, support, and oversight for staff delivering prevention and early intervention services in school settings. This role focuses on universal school-wide prevention, brief intervention, consultation, and support to adolescents, families, and school personnel to improve functioning and promote academic success. The Supervisor will also ensure program quality, adherence to evidence-based practices, and compliance with agency and school district policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily support to behavioral health staff serving middle and high school students. Facilitate school-wide mental health awareness initiatives and support universal prevention strategies. Conduct brief screenings and assessments of students presenting behavioral health concerns. Collaborate with school personnel, interdisciplinary teams, and families to develop intervention strategies. Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including case notes, reports, and data collection. Participate in program development and recommend service enhancements based on school and community needs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and refer students and families as needed. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to assigned staff. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with agency policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field.

Experience:

Prior experience working with middle and high school students in diverse populations. Supervisory or leadership experience in behavioral health or educational settings preferred.

Special Skills:

Strong working knowledge of substance uses disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches. Ability to conduct brief interventions and make rapid assessments of behavioral health conditions. Effective communication and collaboration skills within fast-paced academic environments. Proficient in Microsoft Word and related documentation systems. Familiarity with community behavioral health and social service systems.
