Cherokee Family Violence Center provides emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence. We are currently looking for a Weekend Shelter Advocate. This position involves answering hotline calls, determining if caller is in immediate danger, safety planning with caller, providing referrals, locating shelter as needed, and assisting clients in our shelter. The ideal candidate for this job is someone that is looking for a job with purpose and helping others. Experience working with victims of domestic violence is preferred but are willing to train the right person. The hours are Saturday & Sunday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
