Social Worker NETPACE Health Canton, GA 30115 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and clinical therapy, with a focus on providing care to individuals, particularly children, facing various challenges. This role requires an understanding of HIPAA regulations and proficiency in patient assessment, as well as experience in dealing with PTSD care and behavioral health issues. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, focusing on mental health counseling and clinical counseling techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA standards. Educate clients and their families about available resources and coping strategies. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care. Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and connect them with community resources. Requirements Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent). Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding related to mental health diagnoses. Experience working with children is preferred. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and therapeutic interventions. Familiarity with PTSD care practices and behavioral health issues. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
