Victim Services Coordinator Satilla Health Foundation dba Satilla Advocacy Services 605 Church St, Waycross, GA 31501 Job Summary The Victim Service Coordinator plays a vital role in providing compassionate, trauma-informed support to child and adult victims of abuse, including sexual assault, and their non-offending caregivers. This position is responsible for coordinating direct services, facilitating multidisciplinary team (MDT) collaboration, and ensuring victims have access to appropriate advocacy, referrals, and ongoing support throughout their healing process. The Coordinator will work across both the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) and the Sexual Assault Center (SAC) programs to deliver seamless, victim-centered care.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention, emotional support, and advocacy to child victims, adult survivors and non-offending caregivers.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and safety planning.
  • Coordinates appointments and referrals of clients for mental health, medical and legal follow-ups.
  • Assist clients with accessing services including medical exams, mental health referrals, legal support, and emergency housing.
  • Accompany victims to forensic interviews, court proceedings, and medical appointments when needed.
  • Maintain regular communication and follow-up with clients to ensure ongoing support and case updates.
  • Serve as a liaison between victims, families, and MDT partners, including law enforcement, CPS, prosecutors, medical and mental health providers.
  • Facilitate and document case review meetings, promoting collaboration and information sharing while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ensure that victim service needs are communicated and addressed during MDT case coordination.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of victim service policies, procedures, and protocols in alignment with CAC and SAC standards.
  • Participate in outreach efforts to educate the community on available services and trauma-informed responses.
  • Support prevention and awareness efforts related to child abuse, sexual assault, and victim rights.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in client case files and electronic databases.
  • Prepare reports for grant compliance, funders, and internal use as needed.
  • Uphold professional standards and ethical practices in accordance with state and federal laws, CAC/SAC accreditation standards, and organizational policy.
  • Conduct Forensic Interviews
  • Adheres to all confidentiality policies and victim rights.
  • Maintain survey statistical data on clients for grant purposes.
  • Input data and monitor statistical data
  • Submit DHR statistical reports quarterly
  • Manage 24-hour crisis line during regular work hours and provide crisis intervention and referrals.
  • Responsible for patient surveys through OMS
  • Responsible for follow-up on all victims within 24-48 hrs after intake
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
